Thoroughbred - Equine Commissioned Art

Our philosophy for creating a work of equine art is one that requires study and an understanding of the subject and his or her handlers. It is better if we have a full understanding and represent the essence of what we are painting. It may be an abstraction in some way and not be a realistic presentation. We have a style that demonstrates movement and fluidity.

We work in Pen and Ink, Watercolor, or Acrylic on Canvas. Our paintings are generally high key (bright or intense) have a gloss sheen, have a very textural feeling because in some instances paint is thrown on to the canvas.
